London's "Little Middle East"
--
Edgware Road north of Marble Arch is the main artery of "Little Middle
East" of London. There are lots of arrabic ma & pa shops,
eateries, and full service restaurants specializing the Middle East cuisine.
Several of the Edgware restaurants are owned by the
Maroush "empire" and are quite good.
We tried Maroush I (21 Edgware) and the newer Cafe Maroush [$$] (68
Edgware). Maroush is also spreading out into other London
neighborhoods. |
